ED

Left untreated, the physical frustrations of living with erectile dysfunction can quickly turn emotionally stressful as well, with men often reporting relationship and related issues.

Results can be found often, with just one 25-min procedure performed by our doctors and nurse practitioners trained in a specific injection protocol of Cytokines, mesenchymal cells, growth factors and proteins.   With normal aging, the stress of daily life and other medical issues; the body can sometimes use assistance in rejuvenation.  The Amnion shot directs the body's stem cells to the injection site and provides the additional necessary elements for rapid rejuvenation and healing.   One treatment lasts for up to 24 months and in many cases, additional treatments are not necessary.

Joint Pain

Joints form the connections between bones. They provide support and help you move. Any damage to the joints from disease or injury can interfere with your movement and cause a lot of pain. Joint pain can range from mildly irritating to debilitating. It may go away after a few weeks (acute), or last for several weeks or months (chronic). Even short-term pain and swelling in the joints can affect your quality of life.

Many different conditions can lead to painful joints, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, gout, strains, sprains, and other injuries. Joint pain is extremely common. In one national survey, about one-third of adults reported having joint pain within the past 30 days. Knee pain was the most common complaint, followed by shoulder and hip pain, but joint pain can affect any part of your body, from your ankles and feet to your shoulders and hands. As you get older, painful joints become increasingly more common.

At Amnion, we treat your pain through the use of naturally occurring amniotic fluid which is highly concentrated in growth cells and hyaluronic acid which lubricates joints and tendons and eases the pain. This also helps restore mobility. Hyaluronic acid is the acid that is naturally occurring in the knee. Boosting your natural hyaluronic acid can help to cushion your knee so that there is less bone on bone pain.

Studies have shown that amniotic fluid is naturally regenerative and can greatly reduce inflammation and scars. Amniotic fluid, the fluid surrounding a fetus in pregnancy, also contains nutrients, hormones, and antibodies. Amniotic growth cell therapy is a very safe and effective treatment. The fluid contains development factors that help to stimulate tissue growth, stem cell activity and naturally reduce inflammation. It also contains hyaluronic acid, which acts as a lubricant and promotes cartilage growth. While cortisone and other drugs only provide temporary pain relief, amniotic cells go to the root of the problem and actually restore degenerated tissue which often leads to permanent pain relief.

Hair Restoration

Hair loss can be frustrating, but for those who are at the early stages, are ineligible for a hair transplant or simply can’t afford hair transplant, an innovative solution may help— a new form of treatment that uses amniotic tissue.

Studies show more than half of all men and one in three women will experience hair loss in their lives. It’s a major source of insecurity for adult men and women worldwide, especially when it happens at a young age. Thankfully, technology and science are producing simple, effective, non-invasive ways to promote hair growth for both women men.

PRP and Amniotic Tissue therapy was originally used to speed up the healing process for injuries. Today, these naturally regenerative sources of cellular building-blocks, rich in cytokines and other growth factors are also being used for facial rejuvenation and to stimulate hair growth.  The process of hair loss is twofold. The first factor is decreased blood supply to hair follicles, or ischemia, which causes a slow decrease in their function. This can come from aging, genetics, stress or autoimmune disease. The second is inflammation. One of the reasons amniotic tissue stem cells are working to regenerate hair is that growth cell infiltration causes angiogenesis, which is a fancy name for regrowing blood vessels, or in this case, revascularizing the hair follicles. The other element of amniotic tissue is as a natural anti-inflammatory, which addresses the second cause of hair loss.

Our non-surgical treatment takes about an hour and uses the patient’s blood as the underpinning. The blood is centrifuged to separate the platelets, which have growth compounds, and then the platelets are mixed with vital growth cell-packed amniotic tissue from Amnion. The resulting substance, rich in concentrated growth cells, is then injected into the patient’s top layer of scalp.

The procedure works by slowing down hair loss within a matter of a couple of weeks — sometimes after the first or second shampoo — then, after shedding is reduced, the hair growth takes over. Regrowth takes up to a year. PRP and Amniotic Tissue treatments are quick and affordable when compared to transplants and other painful surgical treatments.  A free hair restoration consultation with a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner at Amnion of Florida can help you learn what’s possible based on your genetics, hair loss, age, and hormones.

Aesthetics

The future of anti-aging skin care is here. Amniotic fluid cell treatments are now an increasingly popular procedure. Aging is inevitable, but it doesn’t have to be so obvious.  One of the reasons our skin shows signs of aging is that it starts to produce less collagen and elastin. With less collagen and elastin production, our skin starts to lose its elasticity and sag more, you can develop uneven pigmentation and it becomes drier, which causes fine lines and wrinkles to form. Our skin also becomes thinner and more vulnerable to environmental stressors.

Setting the bar, Amnion’s amniotic fluid cellular therapy is a revolutionary skin repair procedure for regenerating aging tissue. Amnion contains 120+ growth factors and delivers amazing results. It also contains Hyaluronic acid, which is a substance that occurs naturally in human skin. Although it has several functions, one of its primary purposes is to keep skin and connective tissues healthy and supple. Hyaluronic acid is partially responsible for giving young skin its plumpness and resilience. As we age, hyaluronic acid in our skin diminishes, and the fat beneath our skin breaks down, leading to laxity and sagging.

The amnion tissues and fluid are normally discarded, however now they can be used to treat and rejuvenate skin. A new standard in skin therapy, Amnion is a complete answer to aging skin for the first time in history. It is the most effective all natural treatment to date.

Typical Uses:

May be used for reducing fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, mouth and forehead.

May be used as a stand alone or with other fillers to enhance outcomes.

Can be used topically with micro-needling for the entire face to accelerate collagen production.

Can be used on the hands, knees and elbows to create youthful look.

Incontinence

Urinary stress incontinence occurs when an activity, such as coughing or sneezing, causes a small amount of urine to leak from the urethra, which is the tube urine passes through. Stress incontinence (SI) is the most common type of incontinence suffered by women, especially older women. In addition, women who have given birth are more likely to have stress incontinence.

With stress incontinence, movements and activities such as coughing, sneezing, laughing and lifting put greater abdominal pressure on the bladder. That causes the leakage of urine.

A number of things can contribute to stress incontinence. However, it often results from weak muscles in the pelvic floor or a weak sphincter muscle at the neck of the bladder. A problem with the way the sphincter muscle opens and closes can also result in stress incontinence. Chronic coughing, smoking, and obesity may also lead to SI.

Stress incontinence, especially in women, is often caused by physical changes to the body or weakening muscles. Things that can cause these changes include:

Pregnancy and Childbirth
Menopause
Surgery in the pelvic area or the prostate (in men)
Injury to the urethra area
Problems with muscles in the bladder
Some medicines
Age

Stress incontinence is far more common in women than men. If you have stress incontinence, you may feel embarrassed, begin to isolate yourself, or limit your work and social life, especially exercise and leisure activities. Amnion’s amniotic fluid cellular therapy is a revolutionary muscle repair procedure for regenerating and strengthening aging muscle tissue. Amnion treats your incontinence at the root by naturally rejuvenating and strengthening your weakened muscles, which allow them to more effectively stop the bladder from dropping down into a position that prevents the urethra from closing completely. The result is a total stop to leakage of urine thus, improving your overall well-being.
